Word Hunt — the classic letter-grid word game

Same letters, one clock, best words win. Everybody at the table gets the identical grid and the same few minutes. Swipe through touching letters to spell, watch the others' word counts climb beside their faces, and when the clock runs out the table turns over: the winner is crowned and every word is laid out — yours first, then the ones somebody else found too.

On your own (any time, nothing to set up) · At the family table (everyone live, same letters, same clock). Free, with no account and nothing to install.

Questions

Is Word Hunt the same as the letter-cube word game I grew up with?

It plays the way you remember: a grid of letters, a timer, and points for the longest words you can spell from touching letters. Ours is built for phones — you swipe through the letters instead of writing on paper — and everyone at the table gets the identical grid, so the scores really do compare.

Can we all play at the same time?

Yes. One person sets the table, everyone else taps the link, and the round starts for all of you at once on a shared clock. You can see each other's word counts as they climb, and chat between rounds.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every game, every table, the chat, all of it — free, with no ads and nothing to unlock.

Do I need an account?

No. Nobody signs up, nobody gives an email. You make a family board, share the link, and whoever taps it adds their name and they're in.

Do we have to download anything?

No. It all runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. If you'd like it on your home screen there's a one-tap way to add it, but you never have to.
